TRADITIONAL SERBIAN GRUEL



Ingredients:

v 200 g wheat flour
v 50 g of cream cheese
v 50g cheese
v cup milk




Preparation:

Pour the milk in the bowl, add cream cheese and wheat flour. Cook it together for 20min. When it is nearly cooked add the cheese and stir well.
Advice:
Put the wheat flour in cold water to avoid making lumps. It is important to stir and not to change direction while stirring. When it smooth and compact, with no lumps and starts to pull away from the pan, gruel is over. Add cheese when the gruel cools down because the cheese will melt if you add it earlier. Serve the gruel warm.
