A TRADITIONAL SERBIAN CAKE CALLED `KOH`



Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons semolina
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 liters of milk
  • vanilla sugar


Preparation:

Whisk 6 egg whites with 6 tablesponns of sugar. Add 6 yolks and stir for 10 min. Then add 6 half full  tablespoons of semolina  and 6 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Gently stir and pour into the greasy pan. Bake in the preheated oven on 180 degrees until it becomes light brown.
When `koh` has been baked soak it with a litre and a half of cold milk in which you previously added vanilla sugar.
Leave it for half an hour to absorb milk before serving.
